Wave 2 metal print by Jennifer Creech. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
"Wave 2" is an encaustic wax painting of the dunes and seashore of Cape Cod. It's a bit abstract. Encaustic wax is an ancient medium consisting of beeswax, tree sap (resin), and pigments. A heat source must be used to fuse the layers. I like to use a blow torch. Encaustic wax is so archival, paintings in this medium remain beautiful and vivid even after thousands of years (example: the Fayum Mummy paintings).
