This painting was inspired by a sign I saw at the former North Truro, MA. Air Force Base. The Base opened in 1950 I think, and closed around 1985. When I went back to get more reference pictures, some jerk had made off the sign. Thank you for your kind words, It's a great compliment to have fooled you for a second!
